About Our Company
I opened my shop in 1986, just as knitting was on a downslide. Twenty-three years later, we are still here.
This love of knitting and working with threads is what we are all about. Having learned as a child, we offer classes to children. I know from experience that this is a skill that will stay with these children all of their lives. Even if they knit for only a short time, the memory of knitting classes will live on.
It is exciting to see that those people born in 1986 are so eager to learn a pastime that provides relaxation from their hectic life styles. They are knitting for their children, parents and friends and tell me their desire is to be like the grandmother who knit for them.
Women and men alike of all ages are enjoying the satisfaction that comes with this art skill.
We are located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge town of Washougal, Washington about 13 miles east of Portland, Oregon.
