We offer a variety of classes for all age and skill levels.

Our Formal Classes

Learning to knit by gauge and design your own sweater. Learn what designers know about creating and writing your own patterns.
Knitting socks -- 1 circular -- knit both socks at the same time with 1 circular (magic loop method).
Knitting socks -- 2 circulars -- knit both socks at the same using 2 circulars.
Aran Sweater Class -- Knit in the true fashion from the Aran Islands. Students make this top down, saddle shoulder sweater in one piece by gauge. The students choose what cables and patterns they want for their own "one of a kind" fisherman knit.

Sally Melville's "Best Friends" sweater as featured in her book The Knit Stitch is now a Tuesday bunch which meets from 10-12. A great beginner sweater for all ages.

Our "Informal" Classes

Monday is "help" night: 6 PM on Mondays

Monday evenings be here at 6 PM if you need help. We offer help to anyone who is stuck on a project or wishes to learn a new technique. Built into every sale is the promise that we will be with you through the completion of your project. Nothing is worse than an unfinished project that just sits there year after year. Bring your project down and finish it up, or we'll even do the re-balling for you -- we know that it is hard to let go of all that work, so let us do it and rid you of your guilt.

Knitting for Kids: 2:00 - 3:30 PM on Wednesdays

Lately we've added a mother or Grandmother to join in and this has truly been an inspirational sight to see these 2 or 3 generations share a common hobby.

Knitting Therapy: 1:30 - 3:30 PM on Thursdays

This is for people with like minds who want a place to gather socially to share what they do and what better place than to be surrounded by the wonderful colors and textures of your next project.
